Welcome to New Life School & College of Nursing (NLSCON)

Established in 2004 by its visionary founder Mr. Sarfraz Asif, The New Life School & College of Nursing (NLSCON) set a groundbreaking precedent in the field of nursing education in Pakistan. Prior to its establishment, nursing institutions in the country were primarily operated by the government or non-governmental organizations (NGOs). As a pioneer entrepreneur in the sector, Mr. Sarfraz Asif transformed the landscape of nursing education in Pakistan. His idea to establish a private nursing institution was supported by his father Mr. Sharif Asim & Brother Mr. Kashif along with family, friends, and dedicated colleagues.

NLSCON’s success inspired many professionals in Pakistan, particularly in the Sindh province, to follow suit and establish similar nursing institutions. This development was further encouraged by the Sindh government’s commitment to promoting health education in the region.

Pioneering Excellence in Nursing Education

New Life School & College of Nursing began its journey with its first batch in 2005, offering a 3-year General Nursing Diploma program. Over the years, NLSCON has expanded its offerings and received recognition and approval from:

• Sindh Government
• Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC)
• Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro

Programs Offered:

1. B.Sc. Nursing (Generic) (4-year degree program currently in its fifth batch)
2. Post RN B.Sc. Nursing Degree (Recognized after three years of establishment)
3. Post Basic 1-Year Nursing Diploma Programs (Specialized in Cardiac, Pediatric, and other fields)
4. CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant 2 years diploma program)
5. 3-Year General Nursing Diploma (Initial offering) (Closed by HEC)

Impact and Achievements

To date, more than 1,500 nurses have graduated from NLSCON with diplomas and degrees. These skilled professionals are serving not only in Pakistan but also across the globe, contributing to healthcare systems worldwide.
